Biography

Grace Ellington first began her experience with music by joining the local church choir which she regularly attended and was chosen to perform solo pieces.  Her Welsh roots inevitably meant she would develop a love of  music and one that would remain with her al her life. Her formal training came much later fortunately being trained by one of the countries top vocal coaches Isobella Morrow, who herself has sang Opera in Vienna including performances with Pavaroti.

Grace has performed in top Cabaret venues and for Corporate Events all over the country and also in most theatres (this as part of a theatre show called Saturday Night at the movies).  She has worked abroad for Thomson Gold, and Airtours. Also for Warners, and Grosvenor  Casinos. Hotel groups such as Brend Hotels and Four Pillars Hotels, Ministry of Defence, BBC Radio, Colour Line Cruises, and many more.!!
Grace also sang in the famous Jazz venue “Harrys Bar” in Singapore, and the Intercontinental Hotel in Singapore. Grace has also worked with Jethro at his famous Cabaret Club.
A varied career has seen Grace perform with bands or as a  Solo performer, with or without live musicians
A recent review from 'the stage':
In performing a snippet from what was billed as a Tribute to the Great Ladies of Jazz, Blues and Swing, Grace Ellington  provided the session’s first real touch of class - both visually and vocally. Positively shimmering in a silver creation, she breezed through and lent real feeling to covers of Nina Simone and Billie Holliday and a fair few more numbers of that evocative musical era. Cruise ships may be the obvious, natural environment for Ellington but hopefully she’ll still perform a fair bit on terra firma too over the coming year - a polished act, well worth catching.  (Derek Smith…Stage and TV)
